How to determine the true value of a diamond.

1. Diamonds are priced based on 4 C’s (Grade):
   • Carat – The more carat weight the diamond, the higher the price.
   • Color – The more colorless the diamond, the higher the grade and price.
   • Clarity – The fewer imperfections in the diamond, the higher the grade and price.
   • Cut – The better the cut, the higher the grade and price.

2. Who determines the grade and issue the certificate?
   • GIA (Gemological Institute of America) and
   • AGS (American Gem Society)

Both organizations are well-known as the world’s most respected grading laboratories and most accurate diamond evaluators.
